A fertilizer that formed over thousands of years
Sapropel is a dark, organic-rich sediment from the bottom of freshwater lakes. It builds up over millennia as plankton and aquatic plants decompose without oxygen. The result is a biologically active material full of humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. It comes straight from nature and is not an industrial blend.

Is sapropel suitable for organic farming?
Yes. Sapropel is a natural, unprocessed lake deposit and is widely accepted as an organic farming input. We provide full provenance and analytical data for certification audits.
